New Speaker: Catherine W. Jones, CSP, ARM – Director of Risk Management Services for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools
Catherine will present an informational segment on what the schools are going through in their school gun policy analysis and what parents and community members need to know to engage in the discussion. Catherine recently completed her Master’s degree in Homeland Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. Her thesis, Armed to Learn: Aiming at California K-12 School Gun Policy provides a decision-making framework based on risk management principles.
