Safety and Risk Management Certificate Program
The Safety and Risk Management Certificate Program is designed to assist California employers and employees who are required to comply with state workplace safety requirements. The two courses required for this certificate program provide theory, practical applications, and hands-on assistance to those individuals with workplace safety responsibilities. (More Information)
Environmental Resource Management Bachelors Degree
CSUB's Environmental Resource Management (ERM) degree program prepares students for public and private sector careers in this area. Students must complete core requirements as well as a concentration. The innovative Hazardous Materials Management concentration is one of the first baccalaureate-level programs in California to articulate with accredited environmental technology programs offered by community colleges throughout California and other western states. The community college programs provide the hands-on skills required for environmental and safety compliance, emergency planning and response, and site remediation. (More Information)
OHST / ASP Study Group Meetings take place on the second and fourth Mondays on each month some 6-7:30pm at Memorial Occupational Medical, located at 3838 San Demas Street, Building B, Suite 100.
Anyone can join the group at any time, This is a go at your own pace study group. Bring a calculator. We will be working through some study questions that involve math and the use of the calculator. Any of these calculators can be used while taking the Exam: Any Version of Texas Instrument TI-30, TI-34, TI-35, TI-36 (Most participants are using TI-30XIIS) cost about $15.00 to $18.00. The twelve-credit COR introduces students to the fundamentals of occupational safety and health, stressing the recognition, evaluation, and control of common workplace hazards. The COR is designed for those individuals who already have a bachelor's degree and have safety and health program activities as peripheral responsibilities within an organization. All courses required for completion of the COR are conveniently offered on the web and are flexible.

In addition to Crane and Trucking Services, Mobile Equipment provides Crane operator training (preparing for the CCO certification), Crane operations site supervisor training, Crane safety basic awareness, and rigging training. We have a small hydro, large hydro and a lattice boom set up for training and testing all the time.
